FEATURED WORK

COLLECTION OF WORK
FROM CREATIVE DIRECTION, STRATEGY
TO VISUAL STORYTELLING, ART AND COLLECTIVES

HOW I WORK

I enjoy research because I like to learn, so everything I work on is based on research. I mostly get inspiration from vaguely related things to the work being developed. Going to a theater to see a performance can often lead to conceiving an idea for strategy direction or a photo-essay. What stimulates me most is discovering melting points on the intersection of culture, art, psychology, philosophy, science and technology. In group projects I like to use the double diamond approach while working agile, with clear responsibilities and cultivating a safe space for open discussions.

confinement /kənˈfʌɪnmənt/:
an act of confining
the state of being confined
a dated meaning refers to the condition of being in childbirth
Is it in “confinement” that we often find our memories most vivid (?) our imagination strongest (?)

I wanted to explore the state of boredom and the state of play, and their meaning when one’s area of everyday circulation becomes restricted to one place.

Inspired by personal experiences during the pandemic, and Alice in Wonderland, and my friend Marion from the North.

COLLECTIVE. ART. WORK

Editorial Bo(a)rd

Experimental Collective. Female-powered Art Group
EB is Tal Gilad, Joanne Grüne-Yanoff, Anne Klontz, Emily Mennerdahl, Alina Rentsch, Ernesta Simkute, Isabella Tjäder, Beatrice Alvestad Lopez, and Lucija Grbic.
Nine artists and curators utilizing (known) and inventing (new) editorial processes as a method of exploring and challenging the parameters that exist between texts and exhibitions. We’re also experimenting in how to engage and apply the collective voice to text and exhibition-making and production.

Our latest piece was included the Aural Exhibitions series from Index—The Swedish Contemporary Art Foundation, that was a part of the IASPIS program of events during the opening of the 59th Venice Biennale.

INsister Space

Artist-Driven Platform for Co-creation

A platform and network for freelance artists within the field of dance, performance, and choreography. We work collectively to create experimental meeting points that value the potential of many, organizing activities where we can meet, share, and develop artistic work.

INSISTER SPACE has its base at the artist-run studio house höjden, where I was a member of the Board until earlier this year. INSISTER SPACE has an ongoing collaboration with Skogen, a place of our annual residency. We were a part of the Within Practice 2020 for which I was part of creating a democratic sharing program, as well as photo documentation.
